Quick aloo gobi

As the name refers it is very easy to prepare. This dry curry can be served with plain roti's or rice. Cauliflower is more tender than potatoes and hence should be added last.

  • Potato - 1 (cubed)
  • Cauliflower - 1 (small bunch)
  • Onion - 1
  • Salt - as per need
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 4 tsp

To grind:

  • Tomatoes - 1
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 3 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp

In a pan add 4 tsp of oil add cumin seeds, after it splutters add onion. Fry for 2 mins then add potatoes and cook till potatoes are soft add cauliflower and the ground paste. Cover and cook for 10 min in simmer.
