Hawaiian banana mango smoothie

Smoothies are always refreshing and filling.  It can be taken as a dessert too. For a quick breakfast ~ smoothies are handy. I have prepared smoothie with oat meal too. Use your imagination to blend. Hawaiian smoothies are special because dairy items are avoided and coconut milk is added. Try this for a breakfast, snack, after workouts, dessert.........




Ingredients:
  • Mango - 1/2 cup
  • Banana - 1
  • Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1 tsp (optional)
  • Ice cubes - 1/2 cup


Method:

Combine mango, banana and sugar if using, coconut milk and ice cubes in a blender until smooth and frothy.

Serve immediately.

Note:

  • If your coconut milk is too thick, add water.

  4. I so agree, smoothies are a winner - especially for breakfast, I've never made them with oatmeal though - great idea!

  5. never tried smoothies with coconut milk...must have been tasty na...mayb you can try a pineapple and coconut milk smoothie , might taste like a Pina Colada cocktail drink :-)
