Many of them doesn't like radish, but if you try this stir fry, for sure everyone will eat and the kids will also love it. It can be taken with Roti's or rice. I love buying root vegetables with the leaves on top. Most of the leaves can be used for food and some we don't cook. The greens in the radish really tastes good. To reduce the strong flavor of radish onions and lemon juice can be added. White radishes can be replaced with red one too.
Ingredients:
Method:
Bring a pot of slightly salted water to boil. Add moong dal and cook until they are tender. Chop the radishes and finely.
Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and broken red chilly with little hing. Combine onions and fry till it is cooked. Add the greens first after few minutes mix the chopped vegetable. Add salt.
After it is cooked add moong dal and cook further for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add grated coconut and lemon juice.
