Ingredients:
- Green apple -2
- Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Mustard - 1/4 tsp
- Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp, optional
- Salt - as per need
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Wash and peel the apple. Grate the apple with grater. Use it immediately, otherwise it will change the color.
Heat the small pan with oil, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds. After the mustard splutters add the grated apple, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Stir occasionally, and switch off after the apple is cooked.
When we went for apple picking this fall, I so wanted to make this thokku.. But couldnt get to it.. Looks delicious and inviting!
