Oven roasted cauliflower| Cauliflower fry

Oven roasted cauliflowers are so so good that can be served as an appetizer or snack with ketchup for kids. Great alternate to french fries that are deep fried. After roasting in oven the white florets will have golden brown edges that looks so appetizing.

Ingredients:
  • Cauliflower - 1, big floret
  • Red chilly flakes - 1/4 tsp, optional
  • Olive oil - 4 tbsp
  • Pepper & salt - to taste

Method:

Preheat the oven to 350 deg F.

Wash and dry the florets, remove the stems and chop them into big florets. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, pepper and salt. Add cauliflower pieces and coat thoroughly in each pieces.
Place cauliflower in the baking sheet lined up with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes and turn twice during cooking. Bake until golden brown.
Serve hot with sauce or ketchup.
