This is a simple potato based curry. Boiled potatoes can be stored in refrigerator and this curry can be prepared in minutes. Serve hot with any rotis or rice. A perfect dinner in winter....
Ingredients:
Break the potatoes into small pieces with the help of hand.
Heat a tbsp of oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, ginger, asafoetida and green chilly. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, potatoes and 2 cups of water; mix well.
Add mango powder, garam masala, if using. Adjust salt to taste. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
Serve hot with rotis.
