Baking is very easy and simple compared to other recipes when using correct measurement. Just mixing and bake it. I have never tried icing part, but when it comes to basic cake recipe it can be done easily. The evaporated milk gave me light brown color.
Ingredients:
Pre heat the oven to 375 deg F. Sieve both the flour with baking powder and soda. Mix all the dry ingredients together flour, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda and sugar.
In a separate bowl mix evaporated milk, butter and vanilla extract. whisk together. Gradually mix the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. whisk using hand or blender for 2 minutes and bake it for 15 minutes or till the tooth pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
