Blueberry sparkling lemonade

This recipe was shared from my friend. The drink is so refreshing and you will really like blueberry in this form. Perfect for summer and a great holiday drink. The blueberry lemonade puree can be stored in refrigerator. Once the puree is done you can mix plain water, sparkling water or the spirit of your choice.

Ingredients:

• Fresh blueberries - 2 cups
• Water - 1 cup
• Sugar - 1/2 cup
• Fresh lemon juice - 3/4 cup
• Ginger ale - 1 cup

Method:

In a blender, combine blueberries, water, sugar and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Strain through a strainer.

Fill glasses with ice cubes. Top each glass with 1 tbsp of blueberries on ice cubes. Fill the lemonade mixture about 3/4 cup per glass. Top off with ginger ale.

Note:

• For adult version, add 1 shot of vodka over the ice and pour the blueberry lemonade.
